Zeke was
recommended to me by a friend that he had
trained horses for. I had an untouched morgan yearling
filly that my sister had bought me. I was a little
unsure of having a natural horsemanship cowboy train
my horses with carrot sticks and rope halters with
long leads. This was not something we would do growing
up in a "Show Horse" home. I thought I would try Zeke
since I was at the point of selling Annie anyways. I
just couldn't handle her anymore. The day after I
called Zeke he was over at my house with his equipment
to work my filly. I thought to my self "He's going to
get killed by my horse and there's not a thing I could
do to help him." Within 20 minutes Zeke and Annie walk
out of the barn as if she had done it a thousands times
before. I would always have to run her in and out of
the barn before that. There was no touching this horse.
Zeke began showing the natural horsemanship program
and how to work with my filly. By the end of two hours
he was
sitting on her back and cracking whips around her.
This was unheard of in my family, so to see this I was
amazed. He answered all of my questions with terms
that I could understand. By the following week I had
brought my four year old morgan gelding to be trained
by Zeke. The week after I got Jack back I rode him on
a three day camping trip. He was an angel. The kids
were taking lessons once a week with their horses too.
They just loved it. The horses that I have taken to
Zeke for training are now less spooky, much calmer and
a pleasureto be around.
